Custom Printed RV Awnings

Custom printed A&E replacement awning fabric

For A&E replacement awning fabric, identify the actual Dometic/A&E model and its roller and hardware details before ordering a custom print. We supply replacement fabric for reviewed existing equipment, not an OEM complete system; measure between arm centers and confirm attachment requirements before approval.

Use A&E as a starting point, not a fit guarantee

A&E appears in manufacturer compatibility references alongside Dometic equipment. Older equipment may be described by the A&E name while support documents use a specific Dometic model number. Record what the labels actually say and send photos instead of relying on the brand name alone or the age of the RV.

Dometic’s manuals distinguish roller assembly identification from hardware model and serial information. Collect both where available, especially if parts have been replaced. A previous owner may have changed the roller, arms or canopy. The vehicle brochure does not necessarily describe the equipment now installed on your RV or trailer.

Find the correct manufacturer instructions

Use the documentation for the actual model when assessing operation or arranging replacement. A manual for one powered assembly is not an installation procedure for every manual or powered A&E awning. Ask manufacturer support or a qualified RV service provider if identification is unclear or the current equipment differs from the original configuration.

Do not release spring tension, remove roller end caps or disconnect arms to identify fabric fit from a generic online guide. Assemblies can contain heavy moving parts and stored energy. Safe installation methods, required tools and support arrangements are model-specific. This page helps organize an order request; it is not a universal repair instruction.

Record the arm-center measurement

For our order sizing, measure from the center of one awning arm to the center of the other and round up to the nearest whole foot. Do not measure roller end cap to end cap or order from the width of old, torn fabric. Keep the original reading and a photo showing the measuring points if there is any uncertainty.

Nominal sizes in our builder run from 7 to 26 feet. Printed width is approximately 9 inches narrower to allow room for hardware, so a 15-foot nominal selection corresponds to about 14 feet 3 inches of printed fabric. That width convention does not prove every A&E attachment or projection matches; confirm the exact specification before approval.

Prepare artwork for a reviewed replacement

Submit an original logo or high-resolution artwork file, along with the exact lettering and placement you want. A photo of the old canopy can explain the layout but may not contain a usable print file. Mark any reference annotations clearly so arrows or circles are not mistaken for part of the desired design.

Digital proofing is free, and custom design help is an optional $100 service per order. Printing uses CMYK only, without an exact match guarantee to an original factory canopy, screen image or vehicle wrap. If a particular color or font matters, identify the requirement in your notes and review the resulting proof before authorizing production.

Review scope, condition and payment

A single printed replacement awning costs $1,295 in sizes 7–18 ft and $1,595 in sizes 19–26 ft, with shipping included. The order does not include new arms, roller, motor, mounting hardware or installation. Have worn or damaged equipment assessed first. Replacing the fabric alone cannot straighten a bent roller or correct a failing mechanism, even when the new artwork looks right.

Public orders currently start without an upfront deposit. After checking the size, quantity, artwork and spelling, approve the proof and pay in full before printing. Customer-approved custom orders are not returnable; report damage or production concerns with photos and order details. A&E and Dometic are used to identify existing hardware, with no OEM status, affiliation or endorsement claimed.

Frequently asked questions

Should I search A&E or Dometic for my model?

Use the actual model and label information. Manufacturer references may describe A&E equipment alongside Dometic; the specific model matters more than the search name.

Is this an OEM A&E canopy?

No OEM status or manufacturer affiliation is claimed. We offer custom-printed replacement fabric for reviewed existing equipment.

Can I choose a size from the old fabric?

Use arm-center to arm-center and round up for our nominal order size. Confirm the model and attachment specification separately before approval.
