Custom Printed RV Awnings
Food truck awning guide: printed replacement fabric
Printed replacement awning fabric adds your approved logo or message to an existing, compatible roll-out awning on a food truck or concession trailer. It is different from a vehicle wrap or rigid sign: we sell the fabric, not a complete awning system, installation or a food-service compliance solution.

Printed fabric, wraps and signs do different jobs
A vehicle wrap communicates while the truck is moving or parked with its awning closed. A rigid sign can carry a fixed name or menu independently of the canopy. Printed awning fabric becomes visible as part of the deployed awning and can help identify the serving area with a logo and short front-facing message.
These options can work together, but one is not a substitute for every other surface. We do not sell vehicle wraps or signs and do not publish comparative prices for them. Consider when each item is visible, how it attaches and whether changing a menu or campaign will require replacing the whole printed piece.
Start with the existing roll-out hardware
Record the awning brand and model, photograph the arms and roller, and measure from one arm center to the other. Round the measurement up to the next whole foot for our nominal order size. Printed fabric is approximately 9 inches narrower to leave room for hardware, but the arm-center number alone does not confirm attachment compatibility.
Food trucks and concession trailers can have different mounting arrangements, so do not order from the serving-window width or the overall vehicle length. Send photos if the equipment is unusual or has been modified. New fabric cannot repair a bent roller, damaged arms, insecure mounts or a motor that no longer operates correctly.
If you do not have an awning yet
Arrange a suitable awning system with an RV or trailer awning supplier or installer before ordering replacement fabric. We do not supply arms, rollers, motors, brackets, mounting hardware or a complete awning kit. An opening above a concession window does not by itself provide the equipment needed to fit our fabric.
Ask the equipment supplier or installer to assess the mounting surface and operating clearance. Separately check event rules, local food-service requirements and any restrictions on shading or service areas. Our printed fabric is not advertised as health-code compliant and cannot guarantee that a vehicle or serving arrangement meets a particular authority’s requirements.
Design for the service line, not a brochure
Choose a clear business name and an easily recognized logo, then keep secondary text short. The front-facing valance may suit a concise message better than a complete menu full of small prices. Menu details that change frequently may belong on a separate sign you can update without replacing the custom fabric.
If you include a QR code or web address, confirm the destination and test the code at the intended size before approving. Curved or angled fabric and viewing distance can affect readability. Submit the original logo separately from a reference photo, and identify which annotations explain placement rather than belong in the printed design.
Coordinate colors, proofing and fleet requests
A wrap or painted vehicle can provide a visual reference, but CMYK printing cannot guarantee an exact match to that surface. Supply required CMYK values when a specific brand color matters. Avoid assuming that a screen preview reproduces the precise outdoor appearance of printed fabric on your truck.
A single printed replacement awning is $1,295 in sizes 7–18 ft and $1,595 in sizes 19–26 ft, with optional custom design help at $100 per order and a scalloped valance edge at $100; digital proofing is free and shipping is included. Public orders have no upfront deposit at present: approve the proof, then pay in full before printing. Three or more matching awnings receive a custom fleet quote and use an approved master proof. Check measurements, spelling and placement before committing.
Frequently asked questions
Do you sell a complete food-truck awning?
No. We supply custom-printed replacement fabric for reviewed existing hardware. Complete systems, mounts, motors and installation must be arranged separately.
Can the awning replace my changing menu sign?
You can request menu artwork, but printed fabric cannot be edited after production. A separate changeable sign may be more practical for frequently changing items or prices.
Will the print exactly match my truck wrap?
Exact matching is not guaranteed. Printing uses CMYK; send required CMYK values and a reference, and review the proof before approval.
Does the fabric guarantee food-service compliance?
No. Confirm health-code, event and local requirements separately with the relevant authority.
